NORAH MARIE BELL

I am an elite Canadian soccer player from Kamloops, British Columbia, born in 2007 and graduated high school in 2025. Known for my versatility, speed, and competitive edge, I am capable of impacting the game across multiple positions, including outside back, attacking midfield, winger, and forward. My game is defined by explosive pace, strong tactical awareness, and the ability to break lines with precision passing, intelligent movement, and confident decision-making.

I am currently a freshman with Arizona State University Women’s Soccer (NCAA Division I, Big 12 Conference), where I earned a starting role immediately, starting 18 of 19 matches in my first collegiate season. Transitioning into a full-time defensive role for the first time, I logged 1,298 minutes and was trusted to match up against top opposing attackers. I was honoured to be recognized nationally as one of only five Canadians selected to the Top Drawer Soccer Top 100 Freshmen list. While establishing a strong defensive foundation, I continue to use my speed and attacking instincts to stretch play, support the attack, and create chances.

My pathway has been shaped by resilience and a willingness to challenge myself at every stage. I began my development in Kamloops, later joining the Vancouver Whitecaps Pre-REX program during the COVID period, commuting up to four hours each way multiple times per week. I then chose to remain in the Interior, competing as the youngest player in the inaugural League1 BC season before continuing to play up an age group in the BC Soccer Premier League. I returned to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Academy (NDC) in my Grade 12 year, further refining my game in a high-performance environment.

Throughout my youth career, I have competed and trained at the highest levels available in Western Canada, representing Vancouver Rise (formerly Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Academy, NDC), Kamloops United FC (formerly Rivers FC – League1 BC Pro-Am), Thompson Okanagan FC (BCSPL), the BC Soccer Provincial Development Team, and Nike Elite XI – Canada, including championship performances at the Vancouver Cup and Dallas Cup. These experiences, alongside exceptional coaching and elite teammates, have shaped my mentality, professionalism, and competitive drive.

My greatest strength is my speed. My explosiveness allows me to stretch the field, create separation, and influence the game on both sides of the ball. Combined with creativity, composure, and a powerful shot, I have consistently contributed in goals and assists while elevating team performance. I am highly coachable, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.

Driven by a relentless desire to be the best, my goal is to continue developing at the collegiate level while preparing for professional and international opportunities. I am motivated by daily growth, competition, and the pursuit of excellence, and I take pride in being a player whose presence makes a measurable impact on winning.
